Eyelid surgery work
- Upper and lower blepharoplasty. Removes excess fat and skin from the upper and lower eyelids; may include adjusting the levator muscles in the upper lid for age-related laxity. Lower-lid incisions are placed either behind the lid ("hidden incision," described on the site as transconjunctival blepharoplasty) or along the lash line (cosmetic-eyelid-lift, lower-eyelid-surgery).
- Double eyelid surgery. Creates an upper-lid crease using suture technique or a small incision to excise fat and muscle; performed under local or general anesthesia (double-eyelid-surgery).
