Eyelid surgery work

• Upper blepharoplasty. Removes excess skin, muscle and fat through an incision in the natural eyelid crease; outpatient, local anesthesia with sedation (blepharoplasty).
• Transconjunctival (lower) blepharoplasty. For fat-driven lower-lid puffiness: fat removed or repositioned over the cheekbone through an incision inside the lower eyelid with self-dissolving sutures; a "skin pinch" addresses residual wrinkled skin (cosmetic-eyelid-surgery).
• Ptosis repair. Tightens/adjusts the levator muscle to raise the eyelid; incision in the upper-lid crease; outpatient, local anesthesia with sedation (ptosis-treatment).
• Ectropion repair. Tightens the weakened muscles and tendons supporting the lower eyelid to reposition it against the eye (ectropion-or-entropion-of-eyelid).
• Entropion repair. Tightens the eyelid and its supporting structures to stop the inward turn (same page).
• Revision/reconstructive eyelid surgery. Corrects ptosis, ectropion, entropion, eyelid trauma and removes eyelid lesions, generally under local anesthesia as an outpatient (reconstructive).
