• Upper blepharoplasty. Removes/repositions excess skin, muscle and sometimes fat; the site describes careful attention to skin-crease design, lash position and platform show, and notes "hundreds of before-and-after photographs" (upper-blepharoplasty-surgery-utah).
• Lower blepharoplasty. Addresses puffiness, under-eye bags, loose skin and contour via fat removal/repositioning and skin tightening, described as avoiding an "operated" look and preserving natural eye shape (lower-blepharoplasty-surgery-utah).
• Quad blepharoplasty. Combined upper and lower eyelid surgery on both eyes in one procedure (eyelid-surgery).
• Acquired ptosis and dermatochalasis. Levator aponeurosis repair for stretched/disinserted attachments, often combined with skin-crease recreation and fat transfer; the page states functional (vision-obstruction) surgery does not improve central vision, only peripheral fields (acquired-ptosis-plastic-surgery-utah).

Insurance and cost

Whether ptosis/dermatochalasis surgery is covered depends on the patient's insurance company; when approved, it is performed to improve peripheral vision, not for cosmetic reasons (acquired-ptosis-plastic-surgery-utah). Lower blepharoplasty does not improve vision and is treated as a cosmetic, self-pay procedure. No dollar prices are published for any eyelid procedure.

Recovery (eyelid-surgery overview page): 7-10 days off work; swelling/bruising notably resolves in 1-2 weeks, residual swelling improves over months; makeup resumes at 10-14 days; final results refined at 3-6 months. The acquired-ptosis page adds: upper eyelid sutures dissolve in 1-3 weeks; eyelid-margin numbness recovers over 6-8 weeks; blurry vision can last a few weeks to more than two months during healing.

Practice

Not verified: a Facebook link is printed in the footer (facebook.com/Dr.BCKPatel), but curl returns HTTP 400 for it and for known-valid Facebook profile URLs alike (Facebook blocks automated fetches), so it is omitted pending a browser check. The St. George office phone differs between the site's top navigation and its footer contact block.
